Vishwas Annual Day
The Richmond Fellowship Society, Greater Noida 2nd March, 2014 Vishwas Rehabilitation Centre celebrated its annual day on 2nd March, 2014 at its premises CSF volunteers were invited to make the event more joyful and memorable. It was an excellent and organized effort to build the self- esteem of the inmates of Vishwas.
The event started with the lighting of lamp followed by a brief introduction about the programme and Vishwas. Mr. V. S. Mathur, Secretary of Vishwas explained the motives behind the setting up of Vishwas, a rehabilitation centre for people suffering from Schizophrenia. The program was marked with the mesmerizing performances of Vishwas inmates. They started the event with Vishwas anthem ‘Hum Honge Kamyab’ that showed their zeal and positive approach towards life,. Their dance performance on the song ‘Jai Ho’ helped in rebuilding their confidence. The volunteers of CSF also exhibited their talent. They captured the attention of everyone with their amazing performances. The volunteers of CSF started off by singing a group song ‘Zindagi mil kebitayenge’ which was dedicated to the spirit and zeal of CSF to spread happiness everywhere. It was followed by a solo song performance ‘Zindagi ek safar ha suhana’ and then an energetic group dance that made everyone danced. The combined efforts of Vishwas and CSF filled the lives of Vishwas inmates with joy and smile. |

Visit to Nalgada Village on Bhagat Singh’s Birth Anniversary September 28th, 2014 COSMIC SMILE FOUNDATION VOLUNTEERS visited Nalgada Village situated at Noida Greater Noida highway that used to be the home to Martyrs. Nalgada a preferred hideout for great revolutionaries namely Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose and Chandra Shekhar Azad.
On 28th September, 2014 to mark the birth anniversary of great martyr Bhagat Singh and to pay tribute to the true sons of mother India SMILE Club volunteers with the coordinator Dr. Shilpi Saxena reached Nalgada. In Nalgada Gurudwara the club members felt the vibration of patriotism and to touch the preserved rock that freedom fighters used in making bombs was also a heartfelt experience. Bhagat Singh conducted the historic bombing of the historic bombing of the central Legislative Assembly in Delhi on April 8, 1929. He and his supporters had taken refuge in Nalgada while carrying out the bombing. Cosmic Smile Foundation members also interacted with Ms Manjit Kaur, daughter-in-law of martyr Karnail Singh, companion of Subhash Chandra Bose who mobilized the people on socio-political issues. She enlightened the volunteers by narrating the incidence related to India’s freedom movement and showed the photographs and letters of freedom fighters. |
